Relay displays community’s courage

Gloria and Ray Rodriguez hold hands Saturday as they walk in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Gloria, who has worked at Vacaville schools for 20 years, is battling lung cancer.

Amara Krystek. 17, is on hand to support her 81-year-old grandmother, Sealwyn Malkiewicz.

The walking can wait for these women as they get a workout in a Jazzercise class on the field.
